Brief Job Description
The consultant’s role is to work with the client’s senior executive team to drive the most strategic operational initiatives—implementing innovative solutions, measuring results early and often, and ensuring the desired performance. Consultants are called on to deliver outstanding client results, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations, organize and write proposals, and participate in new business development.
Qualifications
Positions require a MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a top business school. Technical undergraduate degrees are desired. PRTM seeks high-performing individuals with analytical minds, excellent problem solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ideal candidates are self-starters who can manage their time effectively and can educate themselves while contributing to dramatic client performance improvement. PRTM seeks consultants at all levels, with experience working for management consulting firms and/or significant work experience in one of the following segments:
Homeland and National Security: Experience in acquisitions management, science & technology management, IT management, or analysis is required. Specific experience in national security or homeland security initiatives for the federal government is a plus.
Public Health: Experience in commercial biopharmaceutical industry, U.S. government agencies or non-governmental organizations is required. Expertise in product and portfolio management, supply chain operations, manufacturing, quality and regulatory affairs, or public health preparedness is desired. Experience with the Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Food and Drug Administration required. Candidates with Biologics and/or Vaccine industry experience are encouraged to apply.
Aerospace and Defense: Experience in supply chain operations, strategic sourcing, operations research, optimization and stimulation, logistics, or transportation management is required. Commercial experience in these areas in the industrial, aerospace, defense, electronics, and automotive industries is a plus, as it can be applied to both the public sector and the industries that serve government.
