Job Details:
* Under the guidance of the RN, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) assists in providing care through the nursing process in the clinical areas. Cooperates with other members of the health care team in meeting total needs of patients. Observes patients in a systematic and continuous manner and reports information according to prescribed hospital policy and procedure. Basic Qualifications: Current licensure to practice Licensed Vocational Nursing in the State of California. Current CPR certification. Completion of I.V. Therapy course. Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred, with successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence. Successfully complete basic dysrythmia course within 6 month of hire. Current ACLS certificate or meet requirement within 6 months of hire.
