LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT COORDINATOR
STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for meeting planning for all training events andprograms. As well as the creation of purchase orders, processing all invoices and departmental financialtracking. This role also is responsible for the tracking of training programs and generating related s role will provide administrative support to the learning and development team.
Key Responsibilities:
A) Meeting Planning: a. Maintain and organize all electronic contracts and vendor agreements b. Provide on site support during training programs for both vendors and Lilly participants. c. Coordinate and maintain upcoming events section of the L&Dand Leadership portals
B) Reporting: a. Retain training data in alignment with Global Records Retention schedule b. Participate in affiliate Records Coordinator Meetings c. Data entry in SAP and related systems
C) Financial and budget tracking a. Creating purchase orders, invoice tracking and processing b. Manintain/monitor budgets related to events
D) Communication for L & D team a. Using internal communication channels provide input to weekly updates
REQUIRED Skills: a) Education: § Minimum – High School Degree § Prefer - College or University degree b) Experience: § Previous training in business administration § Experience working with the both internal and external customers § Financial and budget tracking, organizaning events and working with external vendors and suppliers c) Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills: § Excellent interpersonal skills; proficient in english communication skills, both business writing and verbal communication § Proficiency working with SharePoint, Microsoft Office 2007 particularly Excel and Project § Project management skills – high attention to detail § Quick learner and excellent can-do attitude § Ability to use the following equipment: Laptop Computer, LCD projector, Meeting Room projection equipment (training providedfor specific in house equipment) d) An asset: § Experience in customer service, executive assistant or meeting planner type roles § Experience with SAP
Occassional travel required to support courses in remote locations or conference attendance. Estimate a total of 2- 3 travel days per year within Canada.
