The company's mission is to play a leading role in the transformation of the U.S. healthcare system through its preeminence in the development, manufacture and marketing of generic a Parenteral Medicines has an excellent opportunity forLaboratory Technician s position performs environmental monitoring of clean rooms and personnel gown and glove monitoring, compressed gases and clean steam testing, collection of water samples, media and reagent preparation and growth promotion, and operation of the ponsibilities:
Perform the monitoring of the classified areas and support facilities during and after production or during recertification
Perform personnel gown certification / recertification. Maintain records and provide gown certification document to relevant departments
Collect samples of the water systems for testing and perform the bulk and water bioburden testing
Perform testing of compressed gases and clean steam systems
Prepare media and perform growth promotion as required
Operate the autoclave as required
Follows Teva Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
Other duties, as assigned, or as business needs require
Provide environmental profile of clean rooms during production runs and data to generate environmental trends of clean rooms
Ensure all utility systems are tested per procedureQualifications:
High School diploma
AA degree/ course work in college Microbiology/related sciences
Minimum of two to three years experience in the aseptic processing or related industry
2-4 years of experience in aseptic techniques
Good aseptic technique, knowledge of testing requirements
Good skills with respect to planning and execution of work
Good communication skills
Ability to provide feed back to management to aid in investigations
Excellent communication skills
Will work under the supervision
