Lab Technician I Category: Manufacturing, Testing and Distribution Facility: Five Parkway Center Department: Prod Mgmt Schedule: Full Time Shift: 2nd shift w/flex to cover other, rotating weekend coverage Hours: 4pm-2am - 4 ten hour rotating weekends and holiday coverage Job Details: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Ability to work independently Good computer skills Strong attention to detail Label blood products and manufacture blood components for transfusion, for further manufacturing and for research purposes in accordance with current good manufacturing practices as required by the FDA, AABB, and Central Blood Bank; and to meet the requirements of our external customers. Perform quality processes on equipment and products as required. Candidate should possess a high school diploma or equivalent. MLT or MA credentials preferred. Laboratory experience is beneficial. Candidate must be familiar with computer usage. Ability to work independently is strongly desired. Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain focused is required.
