Lab Client Services Representative Department: Laboratory - Offsite Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Hours: 1:00pm-9:00pm M-F includes wknd rotation 40 hrs/week Hours per week: 40 Salary: $9.95 Plus Experience Allowance Job Details: * Responsibilities include ordering outreach and outpatient tests, answering phones, picking up specimens from Lab Client Offices, and miscellaneous clerical duties associated with Laboratory's Customer Service Center and outpatient laboratory. Following general guidelines, can satisfactorily resolve most customer problems and questions. Utilizes communication skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, other departments and any other laboratory customers.
Job Requirements
Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum Experience Requirements Basic knowledge of medical terminology is preferred. Basic typing/computer entry skills required. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to interact professionally with physicians, office personnel, hospital departments, patients and visitors, and all laboratory customers. Prior lab experience is preferred.
Minimum Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements Current Indiana Driver's License, proof of insurance and a safe driving record required.
