KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER West Coast The Key Account Manager is a regionally based role focused on developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the leading medical institutions across the country. In this role you will work closely with the field sales organization to drive sales and increase awareness of the benefits of Seprafilm in Key Accounts. Job Responsibilities: * Work within the Genzyme regulatory and legal compliance guidelines. * Mentor Biosurgical Sales Specialists through the sales process. * Closely collaborate with the field organization (RSDs) to develop Key Opinion Leaders into Seprafilm Supporters. * Closely collaborate with the field sales organization to increase Seprafilm business and improve customer loyalty in Key Accounts. * Work closely with marketing to support the development of turnkey programs and tools to support account development, work on the development of a speaker's bureau. * Achieve sales goals. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree * A minimum of three years of surgical/medical device sales Preferred Qualifications: * Proven track record in developing Key Accounts and Product Champions in major medical institutions. * Strong knowledge of the surgical/medical device industry including procedures, products and companies. * Ability to apply qualitative analysis to a situation as part of an assessment and planning process. * Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience. * Strong organizational skills * Strong interpersonal and communication skills & demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
