Job Title Infusion Account Manager - West Coast Location Field Locations Job Category Commercial Operations Requisition Number 12691BR Job Description The Infusion Account Manager (IAMs) provides proactive clinical education and in-service support to targeted TYSABRI infusion sites and associated practices regarding infusion therapy and disease states relating to our therapies. Each IAM is responsible for one of 4 large US regions and has responsibility for approximately 25 key accounts. The primary goals of the Infusion Account Manager are to: . Work with top infusion sites in specified regional area to ensure continued TOUCH compliance . Establish nurse relationships to influence treatment patterns, identify trends, and provide education on key issues (e.g. considerations for infusing MS patients). . Maintain TOUCH On-Line (TOL) Pre-infusion Patient Checklist utilization . Grow the number of TYSABRI prescribers using TOL . Reduce MS discontinuation rates in region and improve patient graduation rate . Assist in activities related to patient pull through Qualifications . Minimum of 5 years experience interfacing with the infusion sector in Biotech/pharma arena. . Deep understanding of the infusion process (infusion site set up and infusion site management) for biotech drugs . Keen understanding of FDA mandated RISKMap programs . Ability to manage multiple and different strategic projects, including the ability to reprioritize work as necessary to meet objectives. . Ability to monitor and report on the regulatory environment. . Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate and resolve problems using diplomacy, poise and tact. . This position is field based and will require travel and continuous interaction with customers, sales organization, the BRM team, patient services, MMR, and Biogen Idec support personnel . Work with minimal or no direct supervision. . Collaborate effectively with members of the commercial team. . Demonstrated relationship management skills. . Demonstrated managerial, leadership and teamwork abilities . Excellent written and verbal communication skills. . Excellent project management skills. . Excellent organizational and time management skills. . Demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team environment Education Bachelors Degree BA/BS required preferably in one of the following areas: Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Management, Marketing, Nursing, Pharmacy.
