We currently have an opportunity for a Leadership Support and Organizational Effectiveness Specialist in our Human Resources department. This position supports enterprise-wide leadership learning and development activities by providing tools and resources to assist leaders in creating and maintaining an organizational culture that fully supports the organization's goals around the four dimensions. Will work with Leaders to integrate organizational effectiveness and cultural change initiatives designed to upgrade management skills and enable the organization to meet business objectives more effectively. This work will be accomplished through a tight design of products and services, as well as a concentrated focus on the measurement of the effectiveness of these products and services. Collaborates in the areas of organizational change, integration, and process improvement.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Four years of work experience in an operational leader role or Human Resources. Minimum 3+ years experience in Organizational Development including demonstrated achievement applying OD methodology, change management and process improvement within a corporate environment. Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional, multi-faceted Leadership effectiveness and cultural change projects and initiatives. Ability to work independently and/or change work direction and priorities effectively and efficiently based on project demands. Ability to deal with extremely confidential information and sensitive information in a professional manner. Previous training design and delivery experience including a comprehensive level of knowledge and demonstrated experience in Employee Development, Training and Development, Quality Improvement, Customer Service, and Technical Writing/Creative Writing. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to influence decision-makers Analytical decision-making skills including the ability to view issues from multiple viewpoints. Compelled to remain expert on current, up-to-date professional trends and share knowledge with others. High degree of initiative, ability to plan and follow through. Comfortable with the role of change agent and related ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree and experience directly involved in organizational change interventions with a major corporation. Desired fields of study include business, psychology, and industrial relations. An expert level of knowledge is in: Project Management, Organization Development, Continuous Quality Improvement/Total Quality Management, Team Development, Consulting, Strategic Planning, Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Framework is preferred.
Responsibilities: Assists in the assessment of organizational learning and development needs resulting in the design and delivery of training programs to enhance leader performance and effectiveness in achieving the goals and objectives of the business. Includes working in collaboration with other HR Centers of Excellence to identify leadership development needs and corresponding approaches to meet those needs. Provides tools and/or expertise in areas including, but not limited to: organization change and transition, process improvement, customer service, employee satisfaction, empowerment, reward and recognition, performance management, customer focused strategic planning and process improvement, including measurement and data analysis in these areas. Design, coordinate, deliver and assess the effectiveness of learning and development resources/programs (e.g., New Employee Orientation.) Identify measures and track/analyze data to evaluate and measure effectiveness of activities. Use available data/metrics to support decisions. Identify and implement learning and development methods, e.g. classroom, e-learning, action learning, vendor coordination, guest speaker coordination, etc. Develop and implement/deliver related resources and/or toolkits (e.g., written materials, documentation for ERIC, etc.) that enhance leadership and team skills. o Demonstrates continuous improvement of products, service and processes through increasing levels and trends on all measures. o Participates and/or provides coordination, development and integration of multiple projects designed to achieve improved leader performance and support HealthPartners' cultural values which may include: o Coordinating recognition programs such as the President's Award, Holiday Gift card program and Service Awards; o Providing training to Lean Team Leaders and facilitation of Lean Tools Training Courses; o Providing ongoing support to Lean Certified coaches; o Assisting with Lean Project Scanning and project selection process; o Coordinating communication efforts related to recognition and Lean programs and other Leader Support projects with corporate communications department; o Coordinating and collaborating with the HR Service Center in the process of for registering and tracking relevant employee and leaders development activities; o Overseeing the bi-annual production of the HealthPartners course catalog.
o Fully participates as a member of the Leadership Support team; commits to sharing information about activities and initiatives to promote effective communication between and among teams. All other duties as assigned.
