Job Description:
Home Health Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care and participating as a member of the Hospice Interdisciplinary Group under the direction of a registered nurse/licensed practical nurse as defined by Standards for the Certified Nursing Assistant {(OAR 851-60-000-851-60-800) Nurse Practice Act (10/97)}. The CNA provides assistance to patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living including personal hygiene and grooming; selected household services; a clean, healthy and safe environment; basic infection control procedures; basic nutrition and fluid intake; recognition of emergency and response with emergency procedures.
Job Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Completion of a Board approved nursing assistant training program
Licensure/Certification: Current CNA 2 (Acute Care) and ability to meet state Home Health Aide Certification required. Current CPR certificate required. Valid drivers license required.
