| Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions: Bachelor's degree in a related health science field required; or combination of education and experience so as to qualify for HTL certification under CLIA and CAP guidelines. Twelve (12) month histopathology laboratory internship experience required. Prior experience in a clinical lab and quality control with experience in tissue fixation, microtomy, processing and staining techniques required. Prior experience in proficiency testing, reporting, and laboratory accreditation preferred.
