HIM PROJECT COORDINATOR - SFTE - FTE 1.00 - 80/PP - 1ST SHIFT - FROEDTERT HOSPITAL - MILWAUKEE, WI
Job Duties: The HIM Project Coordinator has direct responsibility for implementing the scanning processes/systems and leading the project of standardizing the HIM processes between Froedtert Hospital, Community Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital as directed by the HIM Manager and the Director of Health Information Management.
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years' HIM/Project Coordination experience required.
Education: Associate's (or 2 yr) degree in Healthcare or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or related field preferred.
Certification: Certified RHIT or RHIA and active membership in the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), with ongoing completion of current continuing education requirements. Project Management Certification preferred.
Special skills: Possesses knowledge in clinical terminology, medical vocabulary, and classification systems. Acts as a positive, proactive team player. Demonstrates ability to function independently.
