Global Merchandise Manager
New Era Cap Co is currently seeking a Global Merchandise Manager in their location in Buffalo, NY (relocation IS being offered). The Global Merchandise Manager is responsible to manage, develop and ensure adoption of globally relevant seasonal product lines.
Responsibilities of the Global Merchandise Manager:
Manages planning and development of global product assortments
Ensures adoption rates for global lines are achieved
Develops and recommends new product concepts
Manages global processes and communications
Maintains and manages global calendars
Approves regional product initiatives
Works collaboratively with Global Marketing and Business Teams, Product Development, and Design teams to develop product strategies and support Global process
Supports the development of Global Product strategies, with the Global Merchandise Director
Ensures all products and components are aligned with global brand strategy standards
Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external customers
Leads, coaches and develops direct reports within designated area
Responsible for meeting/exceeding corporate financial goals
Requirements:
Requirements of the Global Merchandise Manager:
Bachelor’s degree
5 years of similar experience
Deep understanding of market and consumer and is capable of transforming those insights into action
Ability to manage and lead professionally and effectively
Applies knowledge and skill in product principles and techniques
Leverages financial principles and systems to maximize business results
Identifies gaps and recommends additions to current product assortments
Demonstrates leadership through clear and authentic communication style
Demonstrated ability to profitably manage and grow a business
Pro-actively manages change with urgency and persistence
