• Healthcare facility in southern California is seeking a Government Follow-Up Billing Manager.
• This is a Central Business Office position reporting to the Assistant Director of the CBO.
• The position will manage the day-to-day operations of the Government Follow-Up Department which includes Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Medicaid for 3 other states billings.
• There are 17 FTEs, including division leaders. The position will ensure staffing levels are maintained through interviews and training; provide support and direction to Government Follow-Up staff and work closely with the CBO management team to achieve goals.
• Prior experience in Accounting jobs, Patient Financial Services Director, Business Office Manager jobs, Patient Financial Services jobs , Billing Manager job a plus.

• Qualifications include:
• College Degree preferred; should be proactive, assertive and knowledgeable; have good understanding of governmental payors;
• 3 years minimum hospital and management experience;
• good communication skills and follow-through with reports and documentation; MS office proficiency;
• customer focused internally and externally;
• good at prioritizing and managing resources to achieve targets;
• understanding of start-up operations and project management.
• Prior experience in Billing System Analyst jobs, Accountant jobs, Financial Services Jobs , Patient Financial Services,  Billing Manager jobs, Business Office Manager jobs a plus.

• Salary range is $64K to $76K depending on experience.
