Family Physician without OB for a 25-bed critical access hospital with 4 Rural Health Clinics and a home health department. Hospital services include ER, lab, radiology, home health, acute care, swing bed, intermediate, RHC's, assisted living, specialty services, general surgery, physical therapy, and speech therapy. The hospital is planning an expansion project with ground breaking to be complete Summer 2009. The expansion will include a new clinic, admissions, and laboratory. Seeking a physician who desires to make a difference in a rural area.
Current staff includes 3 physicians and four mid-levels. Call coverage includes back-up ER call one-two nights per week, and primary call coverage 1:14 weekend. Salary range is dependent upon experience with a 2-3 year contract, auto renewable. Benefits offered include 240 hours of paid vacation per year, health insurance, life insurance, KPERS retirement, CME allowance. Possible relocation, and potential loan repayment are also available.
