TCAssociates TCMP is a national health care management company that is committed to the delivery of high-quality health care services. Serving the needs of both government and corporate clients nationwide, TCMP has a projected need for Family Nurse Practitioners for the Naval Hospital located in Lemoore, CA . Serving the needs of both government and corporate clients nationwide, TCMP is aggressively engaged in the bidding process for this contract. This position is contingent upon TCMP being awarded the contract. Duties include, but are not all inclusive: - Provide a full range of nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted by the Commanding Officer (e.g., supervise and provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat,a nd counsel patients as indicated). -Treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses or minor trauma within accepted protocols, Nurse Practice Acts, and/or in collaboration with a physician. -Collaborate with the physician in the health care of patients with chronic illnesses. -Request consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics or other health resources as indicated. -Order diagnostic tests as applicable. -Prescribe and dispense medications as delineated by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. -Promote preventive and health maintenance care, including annual physicals, positive health behaviors nd self-care skills through education and counseling. _Graduate of a Master's of Nursing Program accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and hold a current registration as a registered nurse. _Possess national certification as a Nurse Practitioner. _Possess a current unrestricted license to practice as a NP in one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands. _Have a minimum of one (1) year of full-time experience within the last three (3) years in a setting corresponding to the requirements of the task order.
