Develops, delivers, and coordinates the development and delivery of orientations, employee development programs, and organizational development projects and interventions in order to achieve the defined objectives of the interventions. May serve as the Employee and Organizational Development department liaison to sites or system departments ensuring that the department is the collaborator of choice for those areas.
Develops and delivers activities, orientations, employee development programs and organizational development projects and interventions, that are consistent with principles of adults learning, patient-centered care philosophy, achieve intended program impact, and participant satisfaction.

Manages the development and delivery of employee development programs and organizational development projects and interventions to ensure timely delivery, and integrity of the relationship between plan objectives and design, in order to obtain intended program impact and participant satisfaction, while maximizing the value of department resources to the organization.

May serve as the department liaison to sites or system departments ensuring that the department is the collaborator of choice for those areas and in order to: maintain an ongoing awareness of direction and need, provide a point of access and customer service, and develop the employee and organizational development business plan for those areas.
Consults with clients ensuring successful application of consulting principles such as contracting, analysis, design and development, implementation, assessment/measurement, and closure.

Provides mediation and facilitation where necessary in the organization to ensure Auroras mission, vision, and strategic and business plans are achieved within its values. This includes facilitation of work teams and third party mediation.

Serves as a coach/mentor for employees.

Remains current on adult education, employee development, and organizational development techniques, topics, and issues that are effectively applied in his/her practice. In addition, shares pertinent information with department staff and clients.

Develops, Selects and uses audio-visual hardware and software that facilitate intended program impact and participant satisfaction in a cost effective manner.

Assists in ensuring that department services are valued by clients and that client interactions with the department are valued; assists with the development of the department business plan, including: objectives, budget and employee development calendar.
Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g. Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources Development, Organizational Behavior, Administrative Leadership, Adult Learning, Organizational Communication) preferred.

Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience, which includes employee development (including leadership development) program design, development, coordination and delivery; and internal consulting.

Excellent employee development design and development, platform, group facilitation, and internal consulting skills.

Ability to work effectively with all employees, regardless of individual differences, at all levels of the organization to analyze, and recommend effective solutions to problems.

Superior written, oral communication, planning, priority management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Knowledge of, and the ability to develop audio-visual resources to enhance the impact of employee and organizational development programs.

Ability to work in a collaborative and interdependent environment with diverse colleagues and clients.

Strong client relationship building skills and a collaborative, team oriented approach.

Possess political acumen

Ability to function independently, recognize priorities, and meet deadlines.

Advanced computer skills including: Microsoft Office, and specialized application software used for employee development coordination, design, development and delivery.

Developed expertise in topics and modes of delivery related to current employee and organization development areas of focus to include: new employee orientation; employee engagement; service management; management of individual differences/diversity; change management; multi-rater feedback; employee surveys and assessment; career development; employee, leadership, and management development; team development; distance learning; and use of technology to facilitate learning, such as e-learning.
