Job Description: Plan, implement, evaluate and coordinate the respiratory education for all team members who provide clinical care for the patients with respiratory dysfunction, reporting to the Director for Respiratory Care. Provides bedside, class room and external respiratory education to hospital personnel, students, physicians and others. Perform the functions of a Registered Respiratory Therapist. Implement and coordinate clinical research development. Work requires eight years of advanced clinical experience in respiratory care.
Minimum Requirements: Three years experience as a Clinical Coordinator or Educational Specialist required.
Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy school and Bachelors or Masters degree in Education or a clinical or management focus. Registration required as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and licensed as a Pennsylvania Respiratory Care Practitioner.
Influenza vaccination will be required for all personnel working within LVHN, who have patient contact, unless medically contraindicated or due to a bonafide religious belief or practice.

Licensure and Certifications: Pennsylvania licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT. ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required within 18 months of employment.
