This position will assist customers, referral sources and support internal departments. Responsible for fitting patients with products including specialty lines (i.e. shoes, hosiery, bras). Assist patients and referral sources with the intake process and insurance verification. Complete retail sales with application of suggestive selling. Operate computer software and navigate through necessary programs. Performs data entry and completes proper documentation. Assists customers with equipment needs (delivery, education, set-up). May be responsible for home visits to respiratory patients-including but not limited to replenishment of oxygen supplies and making routine deliveries. Assesses learning needs related to Respiratory Care and informs and educates patients and families. Communicates patient's needs and problems to appropriate disciplines. Assesses the patient's environment continually for safety and educates the patient.
