Conifer Health Solutions is currently seeking a Director of Patient Access for Nacogdoches Medical Center. As the Director you will be responsible for representing the facility on all admitting related activities to the patient, physician and ancillary departments.
In addition to Patient Access Professionals we will also consider individuals with demonstrated leadership experience in other areas of revenue cycle management (billing, terms and conditions, collections, etc.)
Other duties include: * Conifer is a growing company that provides Patient Access services to multiple hospitals throughout the United States. As a result, we have a robust career growth path for talented, ambitious individuals with potential progression through market, regional and national leadership roles. * You'll lead a team of 50 people with the opportunity to drive employee engagement, develop and motivate them and incorporate vision, strategic planning and quality management to ensure high-performance. * Overseeing the allocation of financial resources; identifying cost-effective approaches; establishing and assuring the use of internal controls for financial systems, managing departmental budget including cost benefit and variance analysis. * Understanding and appropriately applying procedures, requirements, regulations and policies related to specialized expertise; understanding linkages between administrative competencies and mission needs; keeping current on issues, practices, and procedures in technical areas. * Formulating strategic program plans, which assess policy/program feasibility and include realistic short-and long-term goals and objectives. Provides for the effective selection, training, development, orientation and performance management of staff. * Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills * Demonstrated leadership and management abilities * Ability to manage a budget * Proficiency in Regulatory requirements * Thorough knowledge of Insurance * Bachelor's Degree preferred * Three (3) to five (5) years Management in a Revenue Cycle or Acute Health Care environment * Extensive knowledge of Reimbursement Methodologies and Admitting desired * Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) preferred * Must be available to work hours and days as needed based on departmental/system demands * Must be "on-call" as needed * Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
