Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Business Development
dLife is looking for an experienced executive for the position of Vice President/Strategic Partnerships and Business Development. The successful candidate will have a background developing, cultivating and managing strategic partnerships in a fast paced, fast growing entrepreneurial company.
The candidate will specifically manage dLifes relationships with current industry partners and identify and close new relationships in line with corporate business goals and objectives. He or she will be dLifes liaison with the partners, managing all aspects of the relationship. Within dLife, the candidate will work closely with the CEO, COO and other key executives to generate partnerships that are designed to enhance and accelerate our growth.
This position requires knowledge and experience with consumer media (particularly digital media) and healthcare industry. Strong presentation skills, analytical skills, self-motivation, and a proven ability to support rapid growth are a must.
Primary Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate company Business Development functions. - Research and develop strategies / plans to generate direct and indirect revenue from strategic partnership relationships. - Develop and manage internal operating budgets supporting your activities. - Manage and nurture relationships - Author new project proposals - Establish and implement short- and long-range business goals, objectives, and operating procedures. - Attend and represent the company at key conferences & events.

- 10+ years of relevant business development and/or strategic development experience within a startup/early stage environment being a plus. - Depth, knowledge and relationships within and across industry - Knowledge of structuring complex deals, negotiations, contracting and deal flow management. - Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience in a fast paced highly motivated earlier stage environment.
