Director of Development Department: Development Schedule: Full time Shift: Days and Flex As Needed Hours: Grade: 107 FTE: 1.00000 Union: Non-Union Job Details: JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Development is directly responsible for the management and oversight of the Pocono Health Foundation. The Pocono Health Foundation includes the following Organizational functions: Prospect Identification, Major Gifts, Annual Campaign, Planned Giving, Grants, Stewardship and Cultivation. The Director will work in collaboration with the Vice President in implementing periodic Capital Campaigns. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in related field required. Master's Degree in related field preferred. Three (3) or more years management experience. Five (5) or more years experience in fund raising. Superb oral, written, listening and presentation skills required. Must project a positive image of the Medical Center with a focus on customer/stakeholder relations, i.e., appearance, communication, demeanor. Excellent planning and organization skills required. Computer experience required. Experience in healthcare desirable. Maintain or pursue certifications by professional organizations in areas of responsibility.
