REM River Bluffs, a part of REM Minnesota, supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as autism spectrum disorders, mental health challenges, physical disabilities and brain injuries in Dakota, Scott and Goodhue Counties.
REM River Bluffs serves individuals with homes and community-based program settings in Red Wing, Hastings, Farmington, S. St. Paul, Lakeville, Inver Grove Heights, Eagan, Rosemount, Apple Valley, Shakopee and Prior Lake. We offer residential services with supports tailored to the needs of each individual as well as hourly support, respite and other specialized services to help individuals be as independent as possible.

Direct Support Professional (DSP) with REM River Bluffs you'll be one of those special people.

REM River Bluffs is seeking Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers to provide assistance to adults with medical complexities in a community-based setting. DSPs provide assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning; medication administration; and personal care. DSPs may also facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community or providing transportation to work or other activities. In addition, DSPs support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life for those we support.
Qualifications Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Car registration and vehicle insurance if providing transportation for individuals receiving services
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Successful clearance of local and/or state background checks
