DIETITIAN-SFTE-1.00 FTE-80 HR/PP-1ST SHIFT-FROEDTERT HOSPITAL-MILWAUKEE, WI
Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, the clinical dietitian is responsible for the development of nutrition care plans, including nutrition assessment and reassessment, education, implementation of nutrition care, and documentation for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The clinical dietitian also educates personnel, students, and the community regarding nutrition for optimal health. Job responsibilities also include the development and revision of educational materials, education and training of dietetic technicians and dietetic interns, and participation in medical team activities. Will act as a positive role model and representative of the Food and Nutrition Services Department to all staff, customers and community. Other duties as assigned.
Education: Completion of a B.S. or B.A. degree in food and nutrition or dietetics. Completion of an ADA approved internship or coordinated undergraduate program.
Licensure: Currently listed with the ADA as a Registered Dietitian or registry eligible and Certified Dietitian, State of Wisconsin. If registry eligible, must successfully pass registration examination within six months and after passing registration examination, immediately become a Certified Dietitian, State of Wisconsin.
