Diabetic Nurse Coordinator, RN, Part Time Days: The Diabetes Nurse Coordinator will be responsible for the in-patient Diabetes education and services. Collaborate with physicians, nursing and ancillary departments to facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to promoting Diabetes management. Serves as the Clinical expert, consultant and educator to ensure high quality care and services are delivered. Current CA RN license and BCLS required. Must have at least 3+ years successful Adult M/S, ICU or ED experience. RN Diabetic Educator Certification completed. Patient teaching experience necessary and may be an expectation of the role. MSN preferred. Experience with data collection, analysis, and report writing. Experience with computer and other productivity application. Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills required.
