Our rapidly expanding, highly clinical decentral pharmacy program is seeking clinical pharmacists for newly created positions in medicine and surgery patient care units. These positions will report directly to the Assistant Director of Clinical Practice and will be responsible for providing comprehensive clinical pharmacy services while benefiting from a schedule of primarily Monday through Friday shifts, with an occasional rotation on evenings and weekends (approximately 1 out of 4 weekends).
Pharmacist-conducted admission medication histories and teaching students and pharmacy residents are additional responsibilities of our exceptional staff members.
Other clinical responsibilities include pharmacokinetic dosing, renal adjustments, IV to PO conversions, drug information, and working in close collaboration with nurses, physicians and other health care providers.
Qualified candidates should have a BS or PharmD, residency training, and/or a minimum 1 year of relevant clinical work experience in an institutional clinical setting. New grads and non-residency trained pharmacists are encouraged to apply. Our current and future growth allows tailoring of positions for the successful applicant's experience and interests.
