Personal Care Aide
We have an immediate opening for a Personal Care Aide to assist adolescent residents at our Valhalla Residential Treatment Center. Duties include personal hygiene assistance, laundry and housekeeping, and transporting residents to outside locations such as physicians' offices or on outings. When not engaged in personal care activities you will join our direct care staff in supervising the everyday life activities of residents within a residential cottage, including participation in daily living routines, meals and recreational activities.
Requirements:
Our position requires a High School Diploma or GED, Home Health Aide/Personal Care Aide certification, a valid NYS Driver License, and a minimum of two years' experience in personal care assistance, preferably with children or adolescents. Hours: 6:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.
