CLINICAL TECH/PER DIEM Department: The Nurses Registry (Float Pool) - Per Diem Schedule: per diem Shift: Variable Hours: Variable Shifts Including Weekends Job Details: - High school diploma or GED required
The Clinical Technician provides direct patient care under the direction of a nurse and performs other tasks necessary for unit operations. GED is accepted in lieu of high school diploma and/or 12 years of documented work experience as a CNA. Must be certified nursing assistant in the State of Florida (a graduate of an articulated nursing assistant program, or 1 year experience in skilled nursing or a hospital setting) PCT or PCA preferred, EMT Florida certification (Licensed). Must have a current certification in basic life support for Healthcare providers. * One to two years experience in a hospital setting required since this position will need to float thought out the system as needed. * Must be certified nursing assistant in the State of Florida * Must have a current certification in BLS Healthcare providers issued by the American Heart Association. PLEASE NOTE: For all positions NCH Healthcare System does require supporting documentation such as a diploma, degree or transcripts to support educational requirement of the position.
