Clinical Quality Coordinator-PHO Department: Managed Care - PHO Schedule: Full Time Shift: Days Hours: Job Details: * Job Summary:
Provides consultation and oversight of the clinical performance of primary care and specialty practices. Serves as advisor to designated practices to achieve clinical excellence. Identifies, develops, implements and monitors clinical quality improvement initiatives in support of overall quality programs. Liaison with third-party payors regarding quality incentive programs and assimilates those program objectives into member physicians and physician groups. Coordniates activites of other PHO staff members involved with credentialing, data analysis and administrative functions.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
Preferred Education:
Masters Degree in Health Care Field
Preferred Experience:
Five years experience in clinical practice with a focus on education, quality improvement processes/programs and regulatory agency compliance. Experience working in a physician's office strongly desired.
