Job Description

Initiate and manage drug/biologic/device development projects including, but not limited to: * Develop clinical aspect of regulatory strategy as part of a multidisciplinary team * Participate in FDA meetings and submissions * Review and contract outsourcing clinical contracts (Pre and Post clinical) * Coordinate product team for CMC (manufacture and regulatory submissions) * Manage non-clinical study (design and conduct) * Manage phase clinical projects, including, but not limited to: Contribute to site selection through site identification and review. * Protocol development (design etc.). * Protocol initiation, including preparation and presentation of Investigator Meeting materials. * Study conduct and management. Contribute to final study report Initiate and manage post marketing clinical studies including, but not limited to: * Identifying thought leaders and sites. * Assist marketing and thought leaders with protocol design. * Manage clinical project conduct (including clinical monitoring) and final report generation. Contribute to clinical development of new drug/biologic/device products by review of regulatory strategy, regulatory submissions, and participation at meetings with FDA. Review potential line extensions for currently marketed products and potential acquisitions for clinical requirements. Manage product safety * Contribute to internal decisions concerning product liability. * Initiate and interact with consultants concerning identified product safety issues. Maintain and update both internal and external budgets. Participate in annual budget reviews. Manage and provide ongoing project status to international and local teams.
Skills/Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: * 8-10 yrs of experience in clinical research (as coordinator, monitor or clinical protocol manager) and/or project management for local/global trials * RN/BSN or BS in scientific or health care discipline * Familiarity with regulatory affairs as it pertain to product development and clinical research conduct (cGCP) * Demonstrated project management ability in coordinating multi-disciplinary team within timelines and budget * Perform with minimal supervision and demonstrate good problem-solving abilities. * Time management and communication skills with local/global colleagues * Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
