Clinical Nurse V - Psychiatric Services Department: Nursing Inpatient C Schedule: full-time Shift: rotating Hours: Req Number: 7220 Job Details: * SUMMARY:Under direction, to administer the nursing services of a major functional area; and to do related work as required. QUALIFICATIONS:Graduate of a recognized school of nursing. A Bachelor Degree in Nursing or related field preferred. EITHER I Experience: Three years full time continuous experience as a Clinical Nurse III with ACMC. OR II Two years full time continuous experience as a Clinical Nurse IV with ACMC. OR III The equivalent of four years full time experience as a Charge Nurse of the equivalent of three years full time experience as a Head Nurse in a large acute facility. A Bachelor Degree in Nursing from a recognized school may substitute for one year of experience as a Charge Nurse. A Masters Degree in Nursing or related field from a recognized school may substitute for two years experience as a Head Nurse. License: Possession of a valid license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of California. Special Requirement: Certain positions may require special certificates. These are: FOR INTENSIVE CARE UNIT- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Coronary Care Unit certification (CCU). Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) is desirable. FOR EMERGENCY ROOM-Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Mobile Intensive Care Nursing (MICN) and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) is desirable. All positions located at Highland General Hospital require possession of current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certificate. Candidates must meet all license and certification requirements of department which he/she will be supervising. REQUIRED: 3 years Experience Adult Psychiatric Inpatient Facility.
