Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist - Pediatric Critical Care Location: Grand Rapids, MI Benefits: Yes Relocation: Yes Responsibilities of Position: The CNS functions autonomously and in collaboration with other members of the health care team in the role of advanced practitioner, consultant, leader, educator and researcher. The CNS provides clinical expertise to patients, their families, health care professionals and the community requesting/requiring support in the diagnosis of human responses to actual or potential life processes. The CNS takes an active role in developing strategies to positively impact resource utilization in area of specialty. Experience Required: -Minimum of two years of recent relevant clinical nursing experience related to area of practice Specific Skills Required: -Time management and organizational skills required. -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to make quality, independent decisions. -Independently mobile. -Able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions. Education Required: -Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan. -Master's degree (MSN or MS in Nursing) and experience working in a Pediatric Intensive care Unit. -CPR certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment All qualified candidates will be contacted within 48 hours of resume submission.
