The Clinical Laboratory Scientist II will provide professional laboratory science services for advanced diagnostic testing in the Division of Metabolics. Services include the performance of clinical laboratory examinations, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management and other functions toward the attainment of these goals. This position requires: * Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or one of the Chemical or Biological Sciences * Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) License or Limited Chemistry license * Knowledge of CAP and JCAHO regulatory standards Preferred Qualifications: * Five years licensed laboratory experience in Chemistry with an emphasis in high complexity testing * Experience with MS/MS, HPLC and/or GCMS * Knowledge of Biochemical Genetics/Inborn Metabolic Diseases Join CHOC's multidisciplinary team and make your mark!
