Clinic RN Posted: Jan-27-2012 Job Code: 3001 Department: Carson Tahoe Physician Clinics Schedule: Full-time Shift: Day shift Hours: Job Details: SUMMARY: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. Assists physicians and staff in coordinating patient care.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Valid Nevada RN license or current temporary license; current BLS/CPR certification required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Must have a minimum of one year professional nursing experience, clinic experience preferred. Must have knowledge of professional nursing theory, regulations, and practice to give and evaluate patient care. Knowledge of policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety and patient confidentiality and knowledge of medical chart reporting/records. Ability to use good judgment in the course of contact with physicians, patients and staff and the ability to understand and follow established procedures. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
