Chief Pharmacist
Responsible for all supervisory and management function relating to the operation of the pharmacy department, spending up to 50% of time on supervisory and management duties. Provides the full range of clinical pharmacy services. Provides pharmaceutical products, drug use information and clinical pharmacy services to hospitalized and ambulatory patients on a rotating basis with other pharmacists on the staff. Free individual insurance (health, dental, vision and life) 50% of cost for family is paid. Access to subsidized housing for clinical positions. Relocation funds and airfare for self and family. Personal leave accrual to 30 days the first year. Site eligible for IHS loan repayment. Maniilaq Association is a non-profit tribal consortium operating health and social service programs in Northwest Alaska. The current 88,000 sq ft Maniilaq Health Center was opened in 1995. The Health Center includes 17 inpatient beds; a large outpatient area; emergency department; radiology; laboratory; dental clinic; eye clinic; and a variety of related health and social services. We provide hospital services (primary care) as well as social services and public health services to Kotzebue and the 11 surrounding villages.
