Title Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Education Requirements Graduate of an accredited school of OTA & have a current license in state of Ohio. Current certification in BLS.
Job Description Under the supervision of a Certified OT, provide rehab services for patients who have developmental, physical or emotional disabilities. Must be flexible and able to provide care in OP/IP & HH setting as needed per case load.
Minimum Job Requirements Must be able to work efficiently and independently. Assists in the selection of occupational therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities, adapts techniques/media as indicated by performance and following consultation with the occupational therapist. Monitors patient?s response to intervention and consults with occupational therapist if modification is indicated. Maintains acceptable patient care ratios as determined by the occupational therapist. Adheres to the Rehabilitation services procedures regarding documentation of occupational therapy services. Perform other duties
