Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital
The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will perform treatment programs which have been developed by the Occupational Therapist and assist in evaluation of client's daily living skills to determine extent of abilities. The therapy assistant is responsible for collecting pertinent patient information regarding each patient's level of independence in ADL's, need for adaptive equipment, motor skills and functional cognitive abilities to provide appropriate therapeutic interventions under the direction of the Occupational Therapist. The therapy assistant documents assessment findings and subsequent treatments in a timely fashion.
This position is casual/PRN and will fill in on an as needed basis within the department.
Associate's degree as an occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program is required.
No experience is required; one year of experience is preferred.
Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant by the State of Wisconsin required.
