Certified Nursing Assistant/ NA Department: Acute Rehab Schedule: On-Call Shift: Varied Shifts Hours: 7-7 Salary: $9.61/$10.09 w/certification - plus experience Job Details: Provides patient care according to established nursing standards, policies and procedures; recognizes and responds to priorities in the patient care process and communicates abnormal findings and/or changes in patient status to RN/LPN; assists patients in the activities of daily living and comfort; assists with patient assessment and planning from admission to discharge; completes and maintains unit specific documentation; independently performs assigned duties; acts as a client advocate and maintains client confidentiality and demonstrates effective verbal and non-verbal communication by providing emotional and supportive care for patient, family, and others. Previous experience as a nursing assistant or successful completion of a nursing assistant certification program. CPR certified; able to care for patients/clients with infectious diseases. Oral and written communication skills; able to lift up to 75 lbs, walk an average of 3 miles per shift and stand for extended periods of time.
