Serving the needs of both government and corporate clients nationwide, TCMP has a projected need for Certified Medical Assistants for the Naval Branch Health Clinic located in Mayport , FL. Serving the needs of both government and corporate clients nationwide, TCMP is aggressively engaged in the bidding process for this contract. This position is contingent upon TCMP being awarded the contract. Requirements: a. Possess a minimum of one year of full-time experience in the last three years as a CMA in an outpatient family practice or primary care setting. b. Provide three letters of recommendation from practicing physicians, RNs or supervisors attesting to his/her professional skills, competencies, patient rapport, etc. Reference letters must include name, title, phone number, date of reference, address and signature of the individual providing reference. Letters of reference must have been written within the preceding two years. Duties: Successfully complete the MTF provided in-services in IV placement, blood and blood administration, and immunization administration prior to assignment of duties. Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood, start IVs. Prepare patients for X-ray. Instruct patients about medications; prepare and administer medications as directed by physician and MTF guidelines. Notify patients regarding labs and other tests as directed. Participate in inventory procedures as directed. Coordinate with other departments and clinic staffs to provide complete care to patients.
