Physical Therapist Assistant
Professional Performance Development Group is now interviewing Physical Therapist Assistants interested in providing services at the Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana.
The ideal candidate will: • Provide appropriate therapeutic procedures and full range of therapy services in support of patients. • Test and measure the patient's strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and/or respiratory and circulatory efficiency. • Administer traction to relieve neck and back pain, using intermittent and static traction equipment. • Record treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart and/or automated system. •Coordinate treatment with physician and other staff members. • Fit patients for, adjust and train patients in the use and care of orthopedic braces, prostheses, and supportive devices. • Observe patients during treatments and compile and evaluate data on patients and additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess: • Graduation from a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). • A current, valid, unrestricted license from one of the 50 States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. • Twelve (12) months of Physical Therapist Assistant experience within the last thirty-six (36) months. • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
