Job Summary: The Medical Assistant is a practitioner who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients. This individual demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Other duties as assigned
Experience: One to two years of clinical experience required, willing to complete and or in process of certification. Preferred experience in a busy Internal Medicine or Family Practice Clinic.
Education: Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice at a level normally acquired through completion of an accredited School of Medical Assistant program.
Licensure: Certification through the AAMA and or an equal certification board. CPR required.
