STANDARDIII Position Specific Performance Criteria/Essential Job Functions/Competencies Performs position specific job functions at an acceptable level.
A. Demonstrate a proficiency in M-Mode, color Doppler, Doppler and patient specific adjustment of ultrasound equipment settings.
B. Demonstrate proficiency in EKG, Holter Monitor, and Event Recording by applying proper lead placement techniques.
C. Demonstrate proficiency inETTby applying proper lead placement techniques and performing tasks as designated.
D. Demonstrates accuracy and completeness in preparing studies for interpretation.
E. Consistently and completely documents patient information and demographics.
F. Demonstrates understanding and use of sterilization procedures relating to use ofTEEprobe.
G. Demonstrates use and understanding of safe and proper transport and patient assistance techniques including use of safety rails and wheelchair brakes.
H. Maintains equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
I. Maintains a good working knowledge of charging and billing process. Responsible for charging appropriately.
