Cardiology Physician Assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION: Physician Assistant Position Summary :
Responsible for patient care in conjunction with the Attending Physician. Responsibilities include but not limited to, daily patient rounds and notes, admissions, discharges, urgent/emergent care and communicating with the Attending Physician pertinent information involving patient care.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Experience :
Experience in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases is desired but not required.
Education :
Must be a graduate of a certified Physician Assistant Program. Bachelors Degree current NCCPA & NJ State PA.,CDS and DEA licenses required.
Required License/Credentials/Skills :
Broad skills in management of cardiovascular disease, both on general inpatients as well as in critical care highly desirable. Other experience, such as cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, pacing and interventional cardiology is desirable but not mandatory. Approval of credentials and clinical privileges per Center procedure.

Regular internal and/or external contact involving considerable tact, discretion, and persuasion in order to obtain information and/or willing action of consent.
Supervision Given :
Responsibilities of the position may require supervision of PA students.
Supervision Received :
Performs duties commensurate with approved privileges, following established procedures and reporting to immediate supervisor.
