Shift/Schedule: Full-time
Job Description: The Cardiac Registry Coordinator maintains, updates and coordinates the LUMEDX database system functionality at the facility level. Interprets data and shares interpretation with Cardiovascular Committees, Quality Management, Outcomes Council, and other committees as determined. Coordinates cardiovascular data collection to ensure STS, ACC-NCDR databases are appropriately maintained. Serves as the key facility contact to issues relating to the performance of the LUMDEX database. Develops the Cardiovascular Registry program to its full potential by continually maintaining the database by training appropriate personnel and support training for ancillary with hardware and software problems and installations of new programs thus providing a continuity of service with maximum results.Actively participates within a Market setting, sharing ideas and having input in the decision-making process that will affect the integrity of the system. Actively participates in creating and accomplishing the Division and Markets Cardiovascular Services goals.
Requirements:
RN license in the State of Florida
Three to five years of relevant healthcare work experience is required
Ability to read, review and understand Catheterization studies, all cardiovascular operative reports, EKG, Echo, Nuclear Medicine, and radiological reports
Ability to interpret and analyze data and understanding of advanced medical terminology
Strong understanding of Meditech Clinical systems. This includes PCM dictionaries, their applications and their integration with other modules
