Job Details: - Bachelors degree is preferred - Experience is required
Job Summary: Gathers, validates, maintains, analyzed, and manipulates data used in reporting and decision making processes, supporting Network Health Plan, plan sponsors, and plan providers affecting decisions, activities, and processes in several departments, including Finance, Group Administration, Claims, IS, Sales, Quality Improvement, and Care Management. Uses a variety of methods and tools to develop and document reports and processes that support ongoing activity or ad hoc requests. Interpret data, identify trends, establish/utilize benchmark data, and present information to customers in clear, concise, and useful formats, including data visualizations and interpretation of information.
Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Applied Mathematics, Information Systems, Business field, or equivalent experience. Three years experience in a decision support position, using microcomputers, Statistical Analysis, and report development and interpretation. Two years experience in insurance and/or health care related industry. SAS programming experience required. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products is helpful. SAS programming language, Brio query a plus. Effective communication skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
