Job Title Billing Specialist Req # 5800BR Job Description Position Summary:
The Returns, Complaints & Billing Specialist is responsible for the appropriate recording and processing of all complaints, returns and billing/credit adjustments within the surgical product line.
Specific Job Duties:
.Resolve & Invoice customers for product and services. .Gather and analyze billing related data and resolve invoice discrepancy. .Assist with billing questions/requests. Audit and investigate all credit and re-bills for the Surgical Business before approving. .Customer Support: Interact and correspond with external and internal customers to research and resolve complex issues. .Resolve customer issues and ensure that root causes are fixed by recommending corrective measures, such as policy change. Ensure all customer adjustments meet standard operating procedures and that every document is collectible. Follow all appropriate financial, ethical, FDA and ISO standards. .Prepare regular reports to summarize and analyze monthly activities. Work with other departments within the surgical business to supply reporting data. Assist with other projects within the surgical organization. .Communicate ideas and feedback between the staff and leadership team. Act as a role model by displaying a positive attitude and meeting performance measurements. .Coordinate daily workflow to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources. .Assisting with billing questions and request. .Receiving and processing credit and re-bills. .Government electronic billings. .Research and resolve difficult external and internal client issues. .Interact and correspond with external and internal customers to research and resolve complex issues. Qualifications .High School diploma required - AA/Bachelors degree preferred or college courses in accounting. .Proficient with Word and Excel. .Administrative experience in finance or accounting including some exposure to analysis and reporting required. .Experience with researching and resolving customer issues. .Customer Service experience. .Demonstrate excellent organizational skills along with the ability to handle multiple tasks. .Great Communication skills required.
