Providence is calling Operating Room Registered Nurses.
Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a qualified RN to join their OR team. This is a great opportunity to be employed by the largest OR facility in Alaska, that has the latest technology including robotics and provides state of the art patient care. Currently we have 17 OR suites and we are expanding. With over 1,000 cases per month, all surgical procedures are performed here except for organ transplants. Preference will be given to RNs with two or more recent years of OR experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Were seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics. This position is located at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. FTE: 1.0, 10 hour rotating variable shift plus a call schedule. This positions regular work hours are 6:45 to 17:15.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing. Licenses/Certifications: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska. Experience: One year experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital preferred. Other: Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work with a variety of health unit teams. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
