Assistant Controller
The Assistant Controller will assist in managing the Company's Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, as well as Collections team. In addition, he or she will manage a job cost accountant. The Assistant Controller will be integral in the month end close process from the general ledger close through the preparation of financial statements. One of the biggest areas of focus will be helping to drive process improvement and adding value in creating efficiencies in the department and its accounting / reporting. This role has great opportunity for growth with a small but fast growing company!!The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Candidates must possess their CPA or be very close to Certification* Candidates should have at least 3 to 5 plus years of relevant experience* A combo candidate with public accounting (audit) and industry accounting experience is preferred* We are searching for someone that is hungry and motivated to work hard and excel in their career with a fast growing organization that has great vision for its future
