Aftermarket Program Manager
Hamilton Sundstrand is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and industrial products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs. The Aftermarket Program Manager (APM) has total responsibility and accountability for the program' overall in-service success as measured in all terms and requirements of the Product Support Agreement (PSA) contract, the business success as measured by senior management, and the measure of customer satisfaction. The Aftermarket Program Manager is the key interface with OEM Airframers from an in-service perspective and supports end-use operator relationships in conjunction with Field Service Representatives and Customer Support Managers. The APM has the leadership role for all Entry Into Service (EIS) activities and Fleet Management Planning, and in coordination with the OEM Program Manager, creates and communicates corrective action plans for in-service issues and drives closure of customer technical issues.
The Aftermarket Program Manager has responsible for meeting the overall in-service program objectives including:
* Program leadership and communication
- Customer and internal management single point of contact for In-Service Issues
- Drive Issue resolution with OEM Program Office and Customer Service Management
- Drive improvements to Customer Scorecards, Key Performance Metrics & Implement and execute standard work
* Program Issue Resolution
- Ensure technical issues are assessed in a timely manner and incorporated into the HS Technical Issues database, as applicable. Ensure appropriate action plans are created; drive to closure.
- Understand supply chain concerns, escalate to appropriate HS area for action, drive closure
- Identification of significant product performance changes and creation of appropriate resolution plans
- Closure of customer warranty disputes
- Ensure PSA contractual compliance
- Understand cost of ownership concerns, provide acceptable fleet and/or customer management plan
* Program Control and Monitoring
- Manage Aftermarket Risk / Opportunities
- Monitor customer satisfaction and proactively identify areas of improvement opportunity
* Program Reviews and Reporting
- Periodic Internal and external progress / status reports
- Support Operator Conferences
- Provide status on Platform in-service issues and Significant Flight Event rates at Operating Committee meetings
- Execute Passport 5 reviews, as appropriate
7-10 years experience in operations/manufacturing environment that included leadership and supervision. Ideal candidates have a tireless work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication, be well versed in Microsoft Access, Excel and PowerPoint and have tangible financial/business experience.
