IMPLEMENTATION AND TRAINING SPECIALIST 2


Position Summary:

Under indirect supervision, coordinates the implementation of a physician office based electronic solutions and assists the practices in the effective adoption and utilization of these systems. As a team, oversees the entire client engagement and ensures that all portions of the software are rolled-out according to mandated schedules and timelines and that all customer personnel are effectively utilizing the software application(s).


Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree, and/or equivalent experience:
· 3+ years experience working directly with physician and/or nursing staff and patient care charting practices (for EMR).
· 3+ years experience working directly with medical office and/or billing processes (for EPM).
· 1+ years of supporting an IT infrastructure in the healthcare environment of business operations as well as an IT organization.
· 1+ years of experience in the area of software implementation, preferably in a healthcare setting.
· Experience with healthcare applications is a plus, specifically the NextGen EPM and/or EMR systems.
· Demonstrated experience in PC based hardware utilization in a medical or business setting.
· Strong interpersonal communication skills.
· The ability to interpret and communicate at all levels of management.
· Essential Functions:
· Assist physician groups to implement electronic solutions, such as practice management and electronic medical record systems.
· Visit physician practice sites and provide on-site implementation support prior, during and after Go-Live
· Manage implementation process adhering to the process established by PACIS team and management to effectively move client through phases towards a successful implementation and effective use of the system(s).
· Assess client needs based on their established workflow methods and technical skills levels.
· Customize and configure software to meet the needs of the each client while staying within the parameters of an enterprise system.
· Follow-up to assure client satisfaction and proper and full utilization of products.
· Field incoming help requests from end users
· Working on multiple projects concurrently and meeting deadlines.
· Working in partnership with the application specialists and training specialist to ensure that customer needs and expectations are met.
· Provide feedback to the PACIS team (might be personal opinion or client suggestions) regarding software application improvements and/or innovations.


Physical Demands for the Position:

· Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time while performing implementation/go-live duties.
· Ability to travel to customer sites.
· CA Drivers License required.
· Ability to use laptop computer.


Success Metrics:

· Ability to meet timelines as established per the PACIS implementation methodology.
· Completion percentage of all forms/sign off points as established per the PACIS implementation methodology.
· Customer satisfaction ratings as measured by post implementation survey(s).
